This week on the big show, Fingers and Tracy discuss the media’s hysterical reaction to the end of the Mueller investigation, blue states attempting to do an end run around the Electoral College, and how one Bernie Bro made our SCAM PAC dreams his own.
Mueller has submitted his report to the DOJ
After almost 2 years of breathless anticipation, Robert Mueller turned in his report to Attorney General William Barr on Friday evening. The only other thing that we know this far, is that this marks the end of Mueller’s investigation and there will not be any more indictments.
Most, if not all, of the hosts and pundits on cable news (with the exception of Fox) have been convinced that Mueller’s investigation would result in the indictments of several of Trump’s innermost circle. Sadly for the media and #TheResistance, this did not come to pass. They were so sure of themselves that they sang songs about Mueller delivering the indictments they so craved.
What will these folks do now that their dreams have been dashed? Will they admit to being wrong? HAHAHA! NEVER! First came the excuse making.
.@MsTaraDowdell: Be very clear this is messaging. The no collusion over and over, the repetition of that… then parroted throughout conservative media… what that is about is planting that in the psyche of the American public. #AMJoy #MuellerReport pic.twitter.com/IoBOxfmYjw

And then it was time to move those goalposts!
.@RepMaxineWaters: This is not the end of anything. It's the end of the report and the investigation by #Mueller. But those of us who chair these committees have the responsibility to continue with our oversight… So it's not the end of everything. #AMJoy #MuellerReport pic.twitter.com/k17VxlyM8H

Looks like we’ve been beaten to the punch on SCAM PAC
From The Blaze: 80-year-old man raises over $250K for Bernie, Beto. What he ACTUALLY did with the money is rather interesting.
Eighty-year-old John Pierre Dupont of California successfully raised money for Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Beto O’Rourke, but none of the money actually went to either candidate.
Instead, Dupont allegedly spent the money on his rent as well as the purchase of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.
Federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York charged Dupont with wire fraud as well as identity theft after he fraudulently raised more than $250,000 for the Democratic candidates, as well as other Democratic candidates and causes.
According to the complaint, Dupont set up at least a dozen websites and three PACs to collect the money in the Democrats’ names. One of the websites was reportedly set to help reunite immigrant families.
Mr Dupont made one mistake that we won’t, he wasn’t open and honest about how the money he was raising would be spent. We will be transparent about how we plan to spend the money we raise via SCAM PAC, we’ll even go so far as to share with donors the blueprints for our beach houses.
Instead of amending the Constitution to get rid of the Electoral College, blue states have a plan to do an end run around it.
The National Popular Vote interstate compact would guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The bill ensures that every vote, in every state, will matter in every presidential election. The National Popular Vote bill preserves the Electoral College and state control of elections.
The National Popular Vote bill has been enacted by 13 jurisdictions possessing 181 electoral votes, including four small jurisdictions (RI, VT, HI, DC), five medium- size states (CO, CT, MD, MA, WA), and four big states (NJ, IL, NY, CA). The bill will take effect when enacted by states with 89 more electoral votes. The bill is on the governor’s desk in Delaware and New Mexico. The bill has previously passed at least one chamber in 8 additional states with 72 more electoral votes. A total of 3,125 state legislators from all 50 states have endorsed it.
Colorado is just the most recent state to join this compact. But remember, the compact only goes into effect when it’s been adopted in enough states to total 270 electoral votes, and they still have quite a way to go.
