This week on the big show, Fingers and Tracy continue to clown on the “Corleone News Network” CNN, George H. W. Bush’s faux guitar playing, Nevada’s legal weed market is open for business, and the latest on Amelia Earhart’s disappearance.

CNN’s fortunes haven’t improved since last week. If anything, they’ve gotten worse. Here’s the tweet that started it all:

OMG! Trump is inciting fake violence against CNN! Puh-lease.

CNN was not about to take this pseudo-virtual-abuse, so they put a crack team on the case, and found who they believe to be the person who created a GIF that inspired the one Trump tweeted out. Great journolisming guys!

Once they had identified and reached out to the creator of this horrifying GIF, a reddit user who goes by the moniker HanAssholeSolo, he posted a lengthy apology.

According to the Daily Caller, HanAssholeSolo’s apology and promise not to engage in further offensive meme-ry is the only reason CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski didn’t reveal Han’s true identity.

CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski opted not to identify the user “because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again.”

But Kaczynski then added that “CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change,” seemingly indicating that CNN would identify the user if he repeats his “ugly behavior” on social media. That sentence was widely interpreted as a threat. Kaczynski, who disputed that characterization, seemed especially upset that the Reddit user “was someone who shared an image of CNN reporters’ face with Stars of David next them.”

This sounded a lot like mob tactics to a whole host of people, including our very own Fingers Malloy and his brain-twin Governor Mike Huckabee.

How embarrassing for Fingers.

Considering that Trump tweeted the offending GIF four days ago, one would think that it would be old news by now. There you go again with your “thinking”, have you learned nothing from the past two years? CNN hasn’t stopped talking about the tweet, and neither has Trump. He was questioned about it during a joint press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda and had this to say.

We do hope the battle between Trump and CNN continues to rage for the next three years, it’s so damn funny.

Speaking of funny, check out the featured image in this article of George H. W. Bush “playing” an electric guitar that is quite clearly not plugged in.

Did anyone believe he was actually playing some sick riffs? Highly unlikely.

Austin Petersen, who attempted to win the Libertarian Party presidential nomination in 2016, has announced he is parting ways with the party and will be running as a Republican in the Missouri Senate race. Via

Dear friends in the Libertarian Party,

For the last eight weeks, I’ve spent six hours a day calling my supporters to ask them their thoughts on how I might best advance liberty. I took the time to listen to every single persons’ opinion about a potential opportunity to seek a seat in the U.S. Senate here in my home state of Missouri.

Of the thousands of people I spoke to, all encouraged a run, hundreds donated, and the vast majority offered their opinion regarding which party I should align with. Over 98% of them, including registered Libertarians, independents, Republicans, and even Democrats, said to run GOP.

For that reason and others, I have chosen to listen to them, as they are the lifeblood of all efforts that I will make to advance our common cause. They are the people whose time, energy, and money I will need to bring our movement a victory that we desperately need. Without the grassroots, I am incapable of action on the field. I feel I must act as a good representative and steward of their hopes and dreams for a better future.

I have served the Libertarian Party in nearly every capacity, at every level, from your humble volunteer coordinator at your national office, to one of your top contenders for President of the United States. Any future successes I may garner in the realm of politics will come in large part because of the experience and opportunities you gave me to advance American freedom, and for that I thank you.

Sadly, I must depart for now. I go with no ill will, and wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Best Wishes,

Austin Petersen

Have you heard that the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Amelia Earhart may have been solved? That’s right my friends, according to

According to HISTORY’s upcoming investigative special “Amelia Earhart: The Lost Evidence,” airing Sunday, July 9, retired federal agent Les Kinney scoured the National Archives for records that may have been overlooked in the search for the lost aviator. Among thousands of documents he uncovered was a photograph stamped with official Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) markings reading “Marshall Islands, Jaluit Atoll, Jaluit Island, Jaluit Harbor.” In the photo, a ship can be seen towing a barge with an airplane on the back; on a nearby dock are several people.

Kinney argues the photo must have been taken before 1943, as U.S. air forces conducted more than 30 bombing runs on Jaluit in 1943-44. He believes the plane on the barge is the Electra, and that two of the people on the dock are Earhart and Noonan. As part of the program’s investigation, Doug Carner, a digital forensic analyst, examined the photo and determined it was authentic and had not been manipulated, while Kent Gibson, another forensic analyst who specializes in facial recognition, said it was “very likely” the individuals in it are Earhart and Noonan. Both analysts identified the ship in the photo as the Japanese military vessel Koshu Maru, which is thought to be the ship that took Earhart and Noonan away after their crash landing.

Guess we’ll have all have to tune in a see if this is just a stunt to grab ratings or if the mystery has been solved once and for all.

And finally some good news, and by good I mean sick, twisted, and sad. Japanese men are “dating” dolls. Via Sputnik News:

An increasing number of Japanese men are finding true love in silicone sex dolls. However, for these men the reasons for such an unusual companionship is sometimes more than just sex.

Masayuki Ozaki’s marriage lost its spark some years ago and although he still lives in the same house with his wife and daughter, he also has a live-in girlfriend, a life-sized doll called Mayu.

Ozaki, a 45-year-old resident of Tokyo, admitted to having felt a deep sense of loneliness before “meeting” Mayu.

“After my wife gave birth we stopped having sex and I felt a deep sense of loneliness,” the 45-year-old physiotherapist told AFP in an interview.
